Краткое описание проектаThis research paper is devoted to the differences in the use of Present Simple and Present Continuous. The practical significance of this work is that students will be able to draw conclusions and create for themselves reminders of the rules that facilitate the implementation of exercises on the use of Present Simple and Present Continuous.

Проблема решаемая проектомThe relevance of the topic of our work is determined by the fact that while studying Present Simple and Present Continuous in the course of the school curriculum, my classmates and I had difficulties in using these times and there was an urgent need to solve this problem.
Основная идеяThe purpose of the work is to find out why difficulties arise in studying the differences in the use of Present Simple and Present Continuous and to minimize them in future students.
Масштаб организации работTo achieve this goal, we need to solve the following tasks: • Study the literature on the topic • Find out the meaning of the terms Simple, Continuous • Find examples of using Present Simple and Present Continuous in textbooks, exercise books, grammar reference books • Conduct a survey of focus group students before studying the topic, during and after testing the prepared assignments. • Analyze the results of the survey • Make conclusions about the need to study this topic at an in-depth level.
Полученные результатыThe tasks set at the beginning of the work have been completed, therefore, the goal is to minimize the number of errors during the exercise has been achieved. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that its results formed the basis for the memo developed by us for better memorization and use of Present simple & Present Continuous.
Кому нужны результаты проектаThe study can be useful and interesting for school students who are fond of the tenses of the English verb, as well as for anyone interested in English grammar in general. The research results can be used by teachers when preparing lessons on this topic.
Перспектива дальнейшнего развития проектаThe work considers only one aspect of the problem. Research in this direction can be continued. This could be the study of not only the rules of using Present simple & Present Continuous, but also other paired times, whose difference in use is questionable among students.
